সদ্যপ্রয়াত জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের বাল্য বিদ্যাপিঠ ত্রিশাল সরকারি নজরুল একাডেমীর প্রধান শিক্ষক ও উপজেলা আওয়ামীলীগের সাবেক যুগ্ন-আহবায়ক মেজবাহ উদ্দিন মাস্টারের স্বরণসভা ও দোয়া মাহফিল অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
শুক্রবার বিকেলে বিদ্যালয়টির এসএসসি ৮৭-৯৮ ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থীদের আয়োজনে সরকারি নজরুল একাডেমী মাঠে আয়োজিত মেজবাহ উদ্দিন মাস্টারের কর্মময় ও ব্যক্তি জীবনের উল্লেখযোগ্য নানা বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা উঠে আসে ওই অনুষ্ঠানে। এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন ধর্ম বিষয়ক মন্ত্রনালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় স্থায়ী কমিটির সভাপতি হাফেজ মাওলানা রুহুল আমিন মাদানী এম.পি।
উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার জুয়েল আহমেদের সভাপতিত্বে বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন, সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী ও জেলা আ.লীগের সাবেক যুগ্ন-সাধারন সম্পাদক নবী নেওয়াজ সরকার, সরকারি নজরুল একাডেমীর ভারপ্রাপ্ত প্রধান শিক্ষক কামরুল ইসলাম, সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী ও জেলা আ.লীগের সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক অ্যাডভোকেট জিয়াউল হক, সাবেক শিক্ষার্থী ও উপজেলা পরিষদের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান হুমায়ুন কবির আকন্দ প্রমূখ।
আলোচনা শেষে মেজবাহ উদ্দিন মাস্টারসহ ওই বিদ্যালয়ের প্রয়াত সকল শিক্ষক ও কর্মচারীদের বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করে মোনাজাত পরিচালনা করেন ধর্ম বিষয়ক মন্ত্রনালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় স্থায়ী কমিটির সভাপতি হাফেজ মাওলানা রুহুল আমিন মাদানী এম.পি।
