প্রখ্যাত শ্রমিক নেতা আ.ন.ম রফিক এঁর শোকসভা অনুষ্ঠিত

বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন কেন্দ্র ময়মনসিংহ জেলার সাবেক সভাপতি এবং বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন সংঘ ও জাতীয় গণতান্ত্রিক ফ্রন্টের জেলা কমিটির সদস্য আ.ন.ম রফিক এর মৃত্যুপরবর্তী শোকসভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। আ.ন.ম রফিক শোকসভা আয়োজক কমিটির উদ্যোগে ১৯ মার্চ রবিবার বিকাল ৪ টায় মালগুদামে অবস্থিত টিইউসি কার্যালয়ে এ সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। শোকসভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন আয়োজক কমিটির আহবায়ক এডভোকেট এমদাদুল হক মিল্লাত এবং সঞ্চালনা করেন আয়োজক কমিটির সদস্য সচিব তফাজ্জল হোসেন। শোকসভার শুরুতে আ.ন.ম রফিক এর স্মৃতির প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে ১ মিনিট শোক নিরবতা পালন ও শোক সঙ্গীত পরিবেশন করা হয়। সভায় উপস্থিত বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক দল, শ্রমিক সংগঠনসহ বিভিন্ন ব্যক্তিবর্গ স্মৃতিচারণমূলক আলোচনা রাখেন।

আলোচকগণ বলেন, আ.ন.ম রফিক ছাত্র অবস্থায় কলেজের দেয়াল পত্রিকা লিখে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে বেশ পরিচিতি লাভ করেন। ৬০ এর দশকে প্রগতিশীল বিপ্লবী রাজনীতির উত্তাল সময়ে তিনি ছাত্র ইউনিয়নের সাথে যুক্ত হোন। পরবর্তীতে তিনি শোষণমূলক সমাজ ব্যবস্থা উচ্ছেদের লক্ষ্যে শ্রমিক রাজনীতিতে যুক্ত হোন এবং বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন কেন্দ্রের সাথে যুক্ত হয়ে শেষের দিকে সভাপতি হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হোন। এ সময় তিনি বাংলাদেশের কমিউনিষ্ট পার্টিতে যুক্ত হোন। ১৯৫৩ সালে শ্রমিক শ্রেণীর মহান নেতা জোসেফ স্তালিনের মৃত্যুর পর সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়নের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টিতে ক্রুশ্চেভ চক্র ক্ষমতাসীন হয়ে তিন শান্তির সংশোধনবাদী তত্ত্ব গ্রহণ করলে বিশ্ব কমিউনিস্ট আন্দোলনে বিতর্ক ও ভাঙন শুরু হয়। এই সময়ে ১৯৮৭ সালের দিকে রাজনৈতিক প্রশিক্ষণের জন্য আনম রফিক প্রায় বছর খানেক বুলগেরিয়ায় অবস্থান করেন। সেখানে তিনি সোভিয়েত সামাজিক সাম্রাজ্যবাদের স্বরূপ প্রত্যক্ষ করেন। এরপর দেশে ফিরে এসে তিনি রাজনৈতিক কর্মকান্ডে অংশগ্রহণ করলেও ৯০ এর দিকে বাংলাদেশ কমিউনিস্ট পার্টিতে ভাঙ্গন তৈরি হলে তিনি রাজনীতি থেকে নিস্ক্রিয় হয়ে পড়েন। এরপর দীর্ঘদিন তিনি রাজনৈতিক কর্মকান্ড থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন থাকার পর ২০১২ সালে বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন সংঘের সাংগঠনিক কর্মকান্ডের সাথে যুক্ত হোন। এর ধারাবাহিকতায় ২০১৫ সালে ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন সংঘের জেলা সম্মেলনে ও ২০১৮ সালে জাতীয় গণতান্ত্রিক ফ্রন্টের জেলা সম্মেলনে জেলা কমিটির সদস্য নির্বাচিত হোন।

শোকসভায় আলোচনা করেন বাংলাদেশের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির জেলা কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক শেখ বাহার মজুমদার, জাতীয় গণতান্ত্রিক ফ্রন্টের জেলা সভাপতি মাহতাব হোসেন আরজু, জাতীয় শ্রমিক লীগের জেলা সভাপতি আফতাব উদ্দিন আহমেদ, বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন কেন্দ্রের জেলা সভাপতি মাহবুব বিন সাইফ, বাংলাদেশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন সংঘের জেলা সভাপতি এডভোকেট হারুন-অর-রশিদ, বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী শ্রমিক দলের জেলা কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক মফিদুল ইসলাম মোহন ও মহানগর কমিটির সাধারণ সম্পাদক আব্দুল মান্নান, বাংলাদেশ শ্রমিক-কর্মচারী ফেডারেশনের মহানগর কমিটির আহবায়ক শেখর রায়, ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন কেন্দ্রের সাধারণ সম্পাদক এনায়েত খান, বাংলাদেশ কৃষক সংগ্রাম সমিতির জেলা কমিটির সভাপতি শাহজাহান মিয়া, ক্ষেত মজুর সমিতির কেন্দ্রীয় নেতা হারুন আল বারী, মহিলা পরিষদের কেন্দ্রীয় সহ-সভাপতি ফেরদৌস আরা মাহমুদা হেলেন ও জেলা কমিটির সভানেত্রী মনিরা বেগম অনু, সাধারণ সম্পাদক ফাহমিদা ইয়াসমিন রুনা, গণতান্ত্রিক মহিলা সমিতির জেলা আহবায়ক বাবলী আকন্দ, গণতান্ত্রিক বিপ্লবী পার্টির সংগঠক আজহারুল ইসলাম আজাদ, অধ্যক্ষ গৌতমসেন গুপ্ত পাপ্পু, ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন কেন্দ্রের কার্যকরী সভাপতি কমল বসাক, উদিচী’র জেলা সহ-সভাপতি আতাউর রহমান, সাবেক জুটমিল শ্রমিক নেতা রফিকুল ইসলাম, বালি শ্রমিক ইউনিয়নের নেতা মকবুল হোসেন ও গিয়াস উদ্দিন, দোকান কর্মচারী ইউনিয়নের নেতা রাশেদুল হাসান কাঞ্চন ও আ.ন.ম রফিক এর ঘনিষ্টজন শাহ আসাদুজ্জামান ও আবুল কালাম। (প্রেস বিজ্ঞপ্তি)
