শহর প্রতিনিধি ঃ স্বাগত বক্তব্য ও উত্তরীয় পরিয়ে সম্মান জানিয়ে মানপত্র পাঠ ও মূর্হুমূর্হু করতালির মধ্য দিয়ে বর্ণাঢ্য আয়োজনে পদকপ্রাপ্তদের বরণ করে নেয়া হয় ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাবে। ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাব কর্তৃক ২০২০ থেকে এ বছর পর্যন্ত ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাব পদক পেয়েছেন দৈনিক আজকের বাংলাদেশ পত্রিকার সম্পাদক অধ্যাপক আব্দুর রাজ্জাকসহ ১২ জন।

১২ ডিসেম্বর সন্ধ্যা ৬ টায় ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাব মিলনায়তনে জেলা প্রশাসক দিদারে আলম মোহাম্মদ মাকসুদ চৌধুরী এর সভাপতিত্বে বাংলাদেশ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. এমদাদুল হক চৌধুরী প্রধান অতিথি’র উপস্থিতিতে এ পদক তুলে দেয়া হয়। এসময় ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাবের সাধারণ সম্পাদক অমিত রায় এর সঞ্চালনায় স্বাগত বক্তব্য রাখেন ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাব পদক উপ কমিটির আহবায়ক ও ময়মনসিংহ সাংবাদিক ইউনিয়নের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মীর গোলাম মোস্তফা। বক্তব্য রাখেন ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাবের সহ সভাপতি এজেড এম ইমামউদ্দিন মুক্তা।

পদক পেয়ে অনুভূতি ব্যক্ত করেন ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাবের সহ-সভাপতি মোশাররফ হোসেন, বাংলাদেশ মৎস্য গবেষণা ইনষ্টিটিউট এর মহাপরিচালক ড. ইয়াহিয়া মাহমুদ, ময়মনসিংহ প্রেসক্লাবের সিনিয়র সদস্য ও দৈনিক আজকের বাংলাদেশ পত্রিকার সম্পাদক বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা এড. আব্দুর রাজ্জাক, সাংবাদিক জয়নাল আবেদীন, সাংবাদিক এএইচ এম মোতালেব, সাহিত্যিক আউয়াল চৌধুরী, সাহিত্যিক মাহবুব হাসান। মানপত্র পাঠ করেন লেখক শহীদ খান ও সাংবাদিক হোসাইন শাহেদ।
