নারায়ণগঞ্জে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণডে অর্ধশতাধিক শ্রমিক হত্যার ঘটনায় গণতান্ত্রিক মহিলা সমিতির তীব্র ক্ষোভ প্রকাশ

স্টাফ রিপোর্টার:  রূপগঞ্জের হাসেম ফুড কারখানায় ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণডে অর্ধশতাধিক শ্রমিক হত্যার ঘটনার তীব্র নিন্দা ও প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছে গণতান্ত্রিক মহিলা সমিতি । সমিতির  যুগ্ম আহবায়ক জিনাত আরা এবং রহিমা আক্তার এক যুক্ত বিবৃতিতে এই ঘটনার  জন্য দায়ী মালিক ও প্রশাসনসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট সকলের বিচার ও দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তির দাবি করেন।  একই সাথে হতাহত   শ্রমিকদের ন্যায্য ক্ষতিপুরণের দাবি করছে গণতান্ত্রিক মহিলা সমিতি ।
বিবৃতিতে নেতৃদ্বয় বলেন,  গত ৮ জুলাই বৃহস্পতিবার বিকাল ৫.৩০টা নাগাদ নারায়ণগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জের কর্ণগোপ এলাকায় হাসেম ফুড লিমিটেডের ছয়তলা ভবনের কারখানায়  ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকান্ডের ঘটনার  সময় প্রাণ বাঁচাতে ছাদ থেকে লাফিয়ে পড়ে অনেক শ্রমিক আহত হন এবং তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে তিনজন মারা যান। কিন্তু  অগ্নিকান্ড সমস্ত ভবনে ছড়িয়ে পড়লে কর্মরত শতাধিক শ্রমিক বাঁচার জন্য আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা চালায়। তবে বের হওয়ার দরজা তালাবদ্ধ করে দেওয়ায় তার মধ্যে  অর্ধশতাধিক শ্রমিক অগ্নিদগ্ধ হয়ে নিহত হন।
নেতৃদ্বয় বলেন,  এ ঘটনায় ৫২ জন শ্রমিক নিহত হওয়ার তথ্য প্রচারিত হলেও অগ্নিদগ্ধে নিহতদের প্রকৃত সংখ্যা নিখোঁজের নামে আড়াল করা হচ্ছে।  গণমাধ্যমের সুত্র ধরে নেতৃদ্বয় উল্লেখ করেন,  অগ্নিকান্ডের  সময় শিশু-কিশোর-নারী সহ প্রায় ২০০ শ্রমিক কর্মরত ছিল।
নেতৃদ্বয় বলেন, দেশে পোশাক শিল্পের বাহিরে  এটাই সবচেয়ে   প্রাণঘাতী অগ্নিকান্ডের ঘটনা।  বিভিন্ন সময় পোশাকশিল্পে বিভিন্ন সময় অগ্নিকান্ড   ও ভবন ধ্বসে হতাহতের একের পর এক ঘটনা ঘটে চললেও ঐ সমস্ত  ঘটনার জন্য দায়ীদের বিরুদ্ধে কার্যকর শাস্তিমূলক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের  উদাহরণ নেই। সেই সাথে  ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত শ্রমিক ও পরিবারে ন্যায় ও যুক্তিসঙ্গত ক্ষতিপুরণ দেওয়ার বাস্তব ঘটনাবলিও কার্যত দেখা যায় নি। বরঞ্চ  এ ধরণের ঘটনায় সরকার ও মালিকপক্ষ নিজেদের দায় এড়িয়ে নামমাত্র ক্ষতিপুরণ দিয়ে প্রিন্ট ও ইলেকট্রনিক মিডিয়ায় ব্যাপক প্রচার তৎপরতা চালিয়ে শ্রমিক ও ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পরিবারকে বঞ্চিত করেছে এবং জনগণকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছে।
নেতৃদ্বয় বলেন, এবারও তার ব্যতিক্রম ঘটার কথা নয়। শ্রমিকের রক্ত চুষে মুনাফার পাহাড় গড়া মালিক এবং তাদের রক্ষাকর্তা প্রশাসন ও সরকার তথা প্রচলিত আর্থসামাজিক ব্যবস্থার কারণে শোষক-মালিক রক্ষা পেয়ে চলেছে এবং শোষিত শ্রমিক ও শ্রমজীবীরা একের পর এক ঘটনার বলি হচ্ছে। স্বৈরাচারী এ ব্যবস্থায় সরকার বদল হলেও এবং বর্তমান ক্ষমতা দীর্ঘস্থায়ী হলেও চলমান সমস্যা তীব্রতর হয়ে পরিস্থিতি সংঘাতজনক হয়ে উঠেছে। এর কারণ নিহিত রয়েছে শ্রমিকশ্রেণি,  ও  শ্রমজীবীদের  সংগঠিত ও ঐক্যবদ্ধ আন্দোলন গড়ে না উঠায়।
নারী নেতৃদ্বয় মনে করেন,  শিল্পাঞ্চলে  অধিকাংশ ট্রেড ইউনিয়নগুলো  এখন  কায়েমী  স্বার্থান্বেষী মহলের দখলে। এরা মালিকের পোষ্য এবং শাসকদের পেটোয়া হিসেবে কাজ করছে।  ফলে রুপগঞ্জের মতো ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকান্ডের ঘটনা  দেশে  ঘটে  চললেও  দেশব্যাপী শ্রমিকরা এর প্রতিবাদে ক্ষোভে-বিক্ষোভে ফেটে পড়ে আন্দোলন-সংগ্রাম-ধর্মঘটের পথে রাজপথ প্রকম্পিত করতে পারছে না। বরঞ্চ  শাসক-শোষক শ্রেণির প্রতিনিধিত্বকারী ক্ষমতাসীন ও ক্ষমতা বহির্ভূত প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল রাজনৈতিক দলগুলোর লেজুরবৃত্তিকারী জাতীয় ফেডারেশনগুলোর নেতৃত্বে  শ্রমিক সংগঠনসমূহের  একটি জোট থাকলেও তারা পত্র-পত্রিকায় বিবৃতি, ইলেকট্রনিক মিডিয়ায় ফটোসেশন, মানব বন্ধন, মোমবাতি প্রজ্জলন, প্রেসক্লাবের সামনে লোক-দেখানো নেতাদের সমাবেশ ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমেই নিজেদের দায়িত্ব পালনের দায় সারতে চায়।
নেতৃদ্বয় আরো বলেন,  সাম্রাজ্যবাদের স্বার্থরক্ষাকারী বিশ্বসংস্থা এবং সাম্রাজ্যবাদীদের এজেন্ট আইটিইউসি  ও ডব্লিউএফটিইউ -এর দেশীয় এজেন্ট জাতীয় শ্রমিক ফেডারেশনগুলোর বিশেষত যখন যে সরকার ক্ষমতায় থাকে তখন সে সরকার দলীয় জাতীয় শ্রমিক ফেডারেশনের আন্দোলন বিমুখ প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল ভূমিকাই এজন্য দায়ী। সেই সাথে বাম নামধারী সুবিধাবাদী-সংশোধনবাদীদের লেজুড়বৃত্তি ও শ্রমিকশ্রেণিকে বিভ্রান্তকারী ভূমিকা শিল্পাঞ্চল ও শহরগুলোতে শ্রমিকশ্রেণি ও শ্রমজীবীদের আপোসহীন ঐক্যবদ্ধ শ্রমিক আন্দোলন করার প্রয়োজনকে মারাত্মকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করছে।
এসব কারণেই দেশের  কর্মক্ষেত্রে একের পর এক নির্মম হত্যাকান্ড, শোষণ-লুন্ঠন, নিপীড়ন-নির্যাতন অব্যাহত রয়েছে। এ  থেকে মুক্তির জন্য  শ্রমিকশ্রেণির  আপোসহীন ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন এবং সৎ সাহসী বিপ্লবী শ্রমিক নেতৃত্বের প্রয়োজনীয়তা ক্রমাগত বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।  নেতৃদ্বয় দাবি করেন, এক্ষেত্রে বিপ্লবী ধারার ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন ফেডারেশনগুলোকে নেতৃত্বের ভূমিকায় অবতীর্ণ হয়ে সাম্রাজ্যবাদবিরোধী গণতান্ত্রিক শক্তিগুলোর শ্রমিক সংগঠনগুলোকে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করে বিকল্প বিপ্লবী ধারার ট্রেড ইউনিয়ন আন্দোলন-সংগ্রাম-ধর্মঘট গড়ে তোলা আবশ্যিক ও জরুরি। এই দায়-দায়িত্ব নিয়ে তাদেরকে প্রতিক্রিয়াশীল ধারার এবং  সুবিধাবাদী-সংশোধনবাদী ট্রেড ইউনিয়নগুলোর স্বরূপ উন্মোচন করে শ্রমিকশ্রেণির স্বার্থে সাম্রাজ্যবাদী একচেটিয়া পুঁজি এবং তাদের দালাল মুৎসুদ্দি পুঁজির বিরুদ্ধে কার্যকর আন্দোলন  গড়ে তোলার আহবান  জানান গণতান্ত্রিক মহিলা সমিতির নেতৃদ্বয়।
