এআর রহমানের গাওয়া ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গান অনলাইন থেকে সরাতে রিট

ফেসবুক, ইউটিউবসহ সব অনলাইন প্ল্যাটফর্ম থেকে অস্কারজয়ী ভারতীয় সংগীত পরিচালক এআর রহমানের বিকৃত সুরে গাওয়া কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গানটি অপসারণ করতে হাইকোর্টে রিট দায়ের হয়েছে। গতকাল বুধবার মানবাধিকার সংগঠন ল’ অ্যান্ড লাইভ ফাউন্ডেশন ট্রাস্ট এবং বাংলাদেশ সুপ্রিম কোর্টের ১০ আইনজীবীর পক্ষে সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আইনজীবী ব্যারিস্টার মোহাম্মদ হুমায়ন কবির রিটটি দায়ের করেন। রিটে তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রণালয়, তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তি মন্ত্রণালয়, সংস্কৃতি মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিব, বিটিআরসি ও কবি নজরুল ইনস্টিটিউটকে বিবাদী করা হয়েছে। রিটকারীরা হলেন— মানবাধিকার সংগঠন ল’ অ্যান্ড লাইফ ফাউন্ডেশন ট্রাস্ট, সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আইনজীবী বায়েজীদ হোসাইন, নাঈম সরদার, ব্যারিস্টার সোলায়মান তুষার, ব্যারিস্টার মাহদী জামান, ব্যারিস্টার শেখ মঈনুল করিম, ব্যারিস্টার আহমেদ ফারজাদ, শহিদুল ইসলাম, মো. শাহেদ সিদ্দিকী, মো. আনাস মিয়া ও মো. বাহাউদ্দিন আল ইমরান।

এর আগে গত ১৯ নভেম্বর সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আইনজীবী ব্যারিস্টার মোহাম্মদ হুমায়ন কবির বিবাদীদের এ আর রহমানের বিকৃত সুরে গাওয়া ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গানটি অনলাইন প্লাটফর্ম থেকে অপসারণ করতে সংশ্লিষ্টদের আইনি নোটিশ পাঠান। নোটিশ পাওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে অনলাইন প্লাটফর্ম থেকে এ আর রহমানের বিকৃত সুরে গাওয়া ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গানটি অপসারণ করতে বলা হয়। কিন্তু কোনও পদক্ষেপ না নেওয়ায় এ রিট দায়ের করা হয়।

কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট গানটির মূল লেখক, সুরকার ও গীতিকার আমাদের জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম। নোটিশে বলা হয়, কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় এবং ঐতিহাসিকভাবে সমৃদ্ধ ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গানটিতে অস্কারজয়ী ভারতীয় সংগীত পরিচালক এ আর রহমান নতুনভাবে সুরারোপ করেছেন। এটি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে পিপ্পা নামের একটি হিন্দি চলচ্চিত্রে। এ আর রহমান গানের কথা ঠিক রাখলেও সুরের পরিবর্তন করেছন। এই গান নজরুলের নিজের সুরারোপিত ও সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত। আমাদের সব বিপ্লব-বিদ্রোহ তথা আন্দোলন–সংগ্রামে অনুপ্রেরণার উৎস হিসেবে কাজ করেছে ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’।

নোটিশে আরও বলা হয়, কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় কবি। তিনি বিদ্রোহী কবি নামে পরিচিত। তার কবিতা আমাদের বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক সম্পদ। তার কবিতার আসল সুর অক্ষুণ্ণ রাখার দাবি জানানো হয়। ব্রিটিশ সরকার কর্তৃক দেশবন্ধু চিত্তরঞ্জন দাশের আটকের প্রতিবাদে কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গানটি লেখেন। ‘কারার ঐ লৌহ–কবাট’ গানটি ‘ভাঙার গান’ বইয়ে প্রকাশিত হয় ১৯২৪ সালে। প্রকাশের পরপর ১৯২৪ সালের ১১ নভেম্বর ব্রিটিশ সরকার ভাঙার গান নিষিদ্ধ করে। পরবর্তীকালে স্বাধীন ভারতে ‘ভাঙার গান’ কবিতাটি ফের প্রকাশিত হয়। ১৯৪৯ সালে কলাম্বিয়া রেকর্ড এবং ১৯৫০ সালে এইচএমভিতে গিরিন চক্রবর্তীর কণ্ঠে গানটি বাণীবদ্ধ হয়। ১৯৪৯ সালে নির্মল চৌধুরী পরিচালিত ‘চট্টগ্রাম অস্ত্রাগার লুণ্ঠন’ সিনেমায় গিরিন চক্রবর্তী ও তার সহশিল্পীদের নিয়ে গানটি রেকর্ড করেন সংগীত পরিচালক কালীপদ সেন।

এরপর ১৯৬৯-৭০ সালে জহির রায়হান তার কালজয়ী চলচ্চিত্র ‘জীবন থেকে নেয়া’ সিনেমায়ও গানটি ব্যবহার করেন। নোটিশে বলা হয় ‘কারার ঐ লৌহ-কবাট’ শত বছরের এক অবিনাশী অমর গান। সময়ের প্রয়োজনে লেখা হলেও গানটির লোকপ্রিয়তায় সামান্য ঘাটতি হয়নি। ব্রিটিশ বিরোধী মানসে লেখা গানটি সব ধরনের অন্যায়, অবিচার ও বিচারহীনতার বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার, ফলে এখনও সমানভাবে এটি প্রাসঙ্গিক।

নোটিশে বলা হয়, একই গান একটি কাজী নজরুলের সুরে ও আরেকটি বিকৃত সুরে থাকলে প্রজন্মের পর প্রজন্ম বিভ্রান্ত হবে। রিটকারীদের আইনজীবী ব্যারিস্টার মোহাম্মদ হুমায়ন কবির বলেন, এ আর রহমানের গাওয়া ‘কারার ওই লৌহ কপাট’ গানটি অপসারণ করতে সংশ্লিষ্টদের লিগ্যাল নোটিশ দেওয়া হয়েছিল। কিন্তু তারা কার্যকর কোনও ব্যবস্থা নেননি। কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম আমাদের জাতীয় কবি। তার গান আমাদের সকল প্রকার বিপ্লব ও আন্দোলনে অনুপ্রেরণা দিয়েছে। তার গান ও কবিতা আমাদের জাতীয় সম্পদ। আমাদের জাতীয় কবি ও তার অমর কবিতার মূল সুর রক্ষায় সুপ্রিম কোর্টে জনস্বার্থে রিট দায়ের করা হয়েছে।

  • When I originally commented I appear to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment is added I recieve 4 emails with the exact same comment. Perhaps there is a means you can remove me from that service? Cheers.
